According to the 2014 Digital Music Report compiled by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), the revenue of the digital music industry went up 4.3 percent to US$ 5.9 billion in 2013 from US$ 5.6 billion in 2012. The Report also claimed that Indonesia’s revenues from digital sales of music climbed 112 percent. It did not, however, note the exact figure for the revenue.
