The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister of Defense are are altogether known as the triumvirate cabinet positions. Article 8 Paragraph 3 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia states that the Triumvirate would simultaneously assume the leadership of the country should both the President and the Vice President die, resign, suffer an impeachment, or can’t perform their duties at the same time.
