President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla were met by thousands of Indonesians that flooded the streets of Sudirman and Thamrin on their way to the State Palace after the oath-taking ceremony at Senayan. It was a spectacle that I had never seen before in my life. I roamed the streets to do a live coverage, and take photographs to commemorate the joyous celebration. It was truly a historic day.
