Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) collapsed 1.4% Wednesday (Oct 1st). Nasdaq composite also tumbled 1.6%. Earlier in Asia, KOSPI fell sharply by 1.41%, while Nikkei 225 lost 0.56%. Other than global sentiment, market players might focus on domestic politics after opposition led by Prabowo Subianto winning key positions in the newly installed House of Representatives (DPR).
