A number of retired generals in the inner circle of President-elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo are interesting names to look into. One of them is Sintong Panjaitan, the former military adviser to former President B.J. Habibie. The three-star military general had a bad relationship with Prabowo Subianto, Jokowi’s opponent in the presidential race. This may explain why Sintong joined the latter.
