In the year 2011, the 21 Cineplex Group was under fire for allegedly monopolizing the Indonesian cinema business through its grip on the Hollywood blockbuster film distribution. The 21 Cineplex Group was rumored to be the owners of the three major Indonesian film importers with the authority to import Hollywood blockbuster films. Those three film importation companies are PT Camila Internusa Film, PT Satrya Perkasa Esthetika Film and also PT Amero Mitra Film.
