The size of the next ruling coalition is one of the key determining factors that will influence the performance of the next cabinet. It is therefore interesting that president elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo decided to tell journalists that he’s opened the door for more political parties to join his ruling coalition, provided they accept the zero conditions rule. But there are those in his current coalition, including the PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, who prefer things the way they are.
