Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE), property developer controlled by Sinarmas Group, booked net profit of Rp2.57 trillion in the first half of 2014, expanded 67% from the corresponding period of 2013, but mostly due to gain in the acquisition of shares in PT Plaza Indonesia Realty (PLIN) Tbk. Without that, BSDE’s net profit should have dropped by around 30%.
