According to the 2013 data released by the Central Statistic Agency (BPS), Indonesia has more than 110.50 million people in its labour force. By virtue of their large number, the Indonesian workers’ position in politics—especially the position of those who are unionized—becomes a very important factor in the 2014 elections.
