Japfa Comfeed (JPFA) booked net profit of Rp53 billion only in the first quarter of 2014, crashed 72% from the corresponding period of 2013 due to falling margins and higher finance costs. The company also reported weaker sales revenue growth than its peers Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPIN) and Malindo Feedmill (MAIN).
