Two months ago, Prabowo Subianto criticized SBY regime for what he called ‘overtly favoring conglomerates, not people at large’. He also criticized foreign investments, which according to Prabowo, only leaving Indonesia behind with pollution and environmental issues. We believe he won’t talk much about pollution anymore going forward because Aburizal Bakrie, whose family is deemed responsible for Lapindo mudflow in East Java, is going to be ‘senior minister’ in his cabinet.
