The General Election Commission (KPU) has on Thursday validated April 9 legislative election results in Central Sulawesi province, which hosts major nickel-related investments of global players like Vale, Rio Tinto-Sherritt International, and some Chinese companies. The KPU has, however, postponed its decision to validate the legislative election results in nine other provinces (Southeast Sulawesi, Yogyakarta, Aceh, Bengkulu, Jakarta, Lampung, West Java, Central Java, and Banten) due to a number of reasons.
