Vanadium, according to Wikipedia, is used as an alloy called ferrovanadium, an additive to improve steels. The metal is lot more expensive than copper. This is one of metals heavily invested by Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group through Atlantic Ltd, a company listed on the stock exchange of Australia (ASX). Salim also controls another ASX-listed Robust Resources Ltd, which develops manganese, copper, and other metals in Romang Island, Maluku.
