The Supreme Court had reportedly granted, in partial, a request by the Indonesian Nickel Association (ANI) and the Association of Municipality Governments of Indonesia (Apkasi) to have the government amending Energy and mineral resources minister Regulation No 7/2012, which bans export of mineral ore by 2014. Miners may continue export but charged with 20% export duty.
