China Shenhua is one of the largest coal producers in the world. It has market capitalization of HK$531 billion. The company has lost 33% its value since July 2011, including 4% fall on Wednesday (Sep 5). China Coal Energy, another giant with market cap of HK$82.5 billion, has lost 60% its value since late 2010. Adaro Energy, the largest coal producer in Indonesia by market capitalization, has fallen 53% its value since early 2011.
