President SBY has been awarded Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath (KGCOB) by Queen Elizabeth this week. In 1994, the Queen also granted the knighthood to Zimbabwe authoritarian leader Robert Mugabe, but stripped off 14 years later following the international furore over violent elections in his country. In 1923, Italian dictator Benito Mussolini was given KGCOB but also revoked few years later.
