Indonesia’s export slipped 1.8% in the first six months of 2012, while import grew 15.3%. As a result, the country’s trade surplus shrunk 96.8% from US$15 billion to US$476 million in the period. Export to China, meanwhile, dropped 15.4% in June over May 2012, deeper than total export’s fall of 8.7%.
